About Community Health Acupuncture Center (CHAC)

OUR MISSION
Community Health Acupuncture Center’s mission is to provide affordable, accessible alternative healthcare (i.e., acupuncture), in a warm, caring, supportive and open environment as well as to promote sustainable business practices.

It is very important that Community Health is a sustainable business for two reasons: First, acupuncture needs to be affordable and accessible for patients so that they can come in for as many treatments as needed to get healthy and stay healthy. Second, the clinic as a business has to sustain its founder by earning enough income to cover expenses and provide a reasonable living. For those reasons, we aim to treat several patients per hour in a community-style setting; it means that we seek patients who will proactively take responsibility for their health status by participating in the healing process. Participation means making necessary lifestyle changes (i.e., making dietary changes, quitting smoking, etc.)
